This is an example of an interesting micro weather pattern I’ve noticed since moving to Lake Tekapo. During the day the clouds often cling to the mountain tops on the eastern side of the village, then spilling into Tekapo saddle later in the evening.
This photo was taken from the Mount John summit earlier last week, during sunset.
It was an impulsive snap that I’m glad I took! 😍
