Here’s another snap from my last night out shooting the stars.(Anzac day)
This is a single frame of the milky way center rising behind Rangitoto Island, taken from the Castor bay rocks.
The light pollution emitted from Auckland city significantly reduces the night sky contrast & therefore reduces the milky way detail.
However I’m still pleased with the image quality given the circumstances.
