This is a photo I shot a month ago out at Bethells beach, while on an Astro workshop with Landscapes by Mike MacKinven and a group of other lovely people.
The weather conditions were a bit wild out on the west coast, with a strong onshore wind shaking tripods and coating lenses in sea mist. None the less the sky was clear and we discovered numerous objects on the beach to use as interesting foreground anchors, such as the lifeguard tower and this crazy piece of driftwood!
