Time for another selfie! 😂
I dug this beauty out of the same image file as my previously posted Whangamata Milkyway Pano.
It’s one of my intentions moving forward to create & post more images with people in them.
Traditionally I’ve tried to keep people out of my landscape or astro images to portray sence of tranquility.
I feel that having just one person in the frame of an image gives more of a sence of scale, and adds an emotional element. Often a feeling of nostalgia that draws me back into that moment.
I created this image by standing very still and manually firing a speedlight (fitted with a dome diffuser), during a 20second exposure at ISO16000.
Camera: Sony A7s
Lens: Samyang 14mm f2.8 set to f4.5
