While on the Indonesian island of Nusa Lembongan, I made a couple if visits to this interesting place.
Devil’s tears bay is a series of limestone cliffs located on the eastern shore of Nusa Lembongan island.
The jagged outcrops form a number of picturesque rock pools and impressive blowholes producing a thundering spray of seawater that rockets skyward when the swells are high.
Devil’s tears is appropriately named for it’s showcase of mother nature’s raw power.
Though it’s not quite as ominous as the name suggests, care must be taken when viewing the blowholes from a close distance.
I happened to be standing in range when a larger than usual wave came through and showered everyone with copious amounts of seawater. 😂📸💧
