This image is something pretty special.
It’s one of my most recently shot panoramas.

New Chum beach is a spot I’m particularly fond of and I usually make a point of going there at least once a year.
The location used to be a local secret but is fast becoming a well known hot spot for holiday makers and tourists.
I’ve wanted to capture a sunset Pano from the lookout for a while so I’m glad to have made it happen before the end of 2017.
We spent the afternoon on the beach and in the water then made the precarious climb to the lookout in time for the golden hour.
With a storm brewing out at sea I was concerned the wind would change and we would get drenched, but our perseverance payed off as the storm kept its distance.
The sunset lit the sky on fire and the storm threw down a rainbow as well!
What a day! What a place! What a sunset!
