The north eastern shore of lake Te Anau. Decorated with colourful pebbles. We stumbled upon this serene paradise having turned up at Harry Creek @docgovtnz campsite in the dark. Driving around the narrow bush tracks feeling like we were in a scene from wolf creek.
After parking the camper next to a bbq table, not really knowing where we were, we got out of the car and were greeted by that soothing sound of water lapping on a shore.
Morning revealed how close we were to the lake. Literally meters! Jackpot!🏞😍👌
