“Dusk till dawn” Phase 2/3. -Night

Enter part two of my “Dusk till dawn” panorama trilogy.
The views from the Whangamata peninsula lookout, between dusk and dawn.
Yesterday was sunset.
Today the milkyway forming an arc over Whangamata township.
Tomorrow will be the 3rd phase which is sunrise. This visit to Whangamata was a great opportunity to catch up with some old friends. You know who you are.😉
Having also gone out and captured these beautiful images was the icing on the cake.
These images resonate a deep connection with my past, having lived in Whangamata for a significant part of my upbringing.
This image was shot shortly after midnight.
As the milkyway moved lower in the sky, from my perspective it formed a brilliant arc over Whangamata. 😍👌
