On the road home after an extra long Queen’s birthday weekend, we made a compulsory stop at Bridal veil falls. I’m kind of embarrassed that it was my first time visiting the falls as I’d previously lived in the Waikato for a decade.😁
Being a Tuesday there were hardly any people on the track, so the walk through the bush was quite peaceful.
For this shot I had to jump the barrier of the viewing platform and clamber down a bank to get to a spot with a nice bit of foliage to use in the foreground. The water was a bit murky due to heavy rainfall recently, but on the bright side, the bush was looking extra lush!
