A moody sunset pic from a quirky little beach on the coast of Orepuki, Southland. Taken in October 2017. Gemstone beach has more character than any other beach I know. With it’s wind swept trees and grasses, Gnarly pieces of driftwood and colourful gem-like rocks strewn across the shore. There’s also a spooky little wooden hut made partly of driftwood with a bold KEEP OUT! sign on the door.
